Drink plenty of fluids, and check up on elderly and vulnerable relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear sunscreen and light loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles under any circumstances as vehicle interiors can reach extreme temperatures in as little as 10 minutes.
