At 946 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ellendale, or near Bartlett, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Millington, Cordova, Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Ellendale, Eads, Frayser, Midtown Memphis, Piperton, Gallaway, Braden, Lenow, Griffin Corner, Woodstock, Rosemark, and Kirk.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 33. Interstate 240 between mile markers 12 and 17, and near mile marker 30.
